hi im new to this forum, and im currently looking into purchasing a new 03 lancer evolution. I have some questions.

What will be the diffrence between the 03's and 04's.

What are the most common problems with the Evos.

WHat kind of price are most evos goin for right about now.

Any maintence issues. i heard it becomes a pain to have to rotate the tires every 6k miles or something like that, and only a specific kind of snythetic oil can be used. stuff like this.

thanks ahead of time for your post.

hey there

Aniways umm i think the difference it that the 04's only come in the ralliart body or watever..*correct me if i'm wrong*

Next umm i don't really knoe wat is the most common problem but i'll probly look into it and talk to my cuzzie/bro about it *he's a mechanic*

I belive a new Evo8 03 is well about 28.9 G's

When it comes to the maintence..i've heard from a lot of ppl that the engine is crappy..but i never really understood wat that meant...yeah like u said it might b the oil and the tires thing...i dunno too many rumors...

There is nothing wrong with the cars. People just don't know how to drive. I work at a Mits Dealership. We have put 10 clutches in so far. Another 8 have been wrecked by KIDS driving them like they are Tommi Mak! They try to do burn outs or drag race them and dump the clutch at 5,000 Rpm's. Maintance is in the eye of the owner. We charge $95.00 for the 6k service(s). Oil change and tire rotation. Warranty gets voided if you don't have maintance records and use Mobil 1 oil.
