you dont loose posts when they get deleted, unless you meant future posts

im telling you. Your post count will not go down from it. This has already been verified by mike as well. If you dont believe me, as a test start a thread, then just put whatever you want in the thread and even reply once so that you have two posts. then note what # posts those are, then ill delete the thread and show you it doesnt go down

Tidus you dont loose any posts when they are deleted. TRUST me both sang and I tested this with silvertooth you know since I can sign on this forum as any member I want to and make posts as if I were them then delete them. we tried and it did not delete even 1 post from his name.

Actually I think if it got a PERMANENT delete you lose posts. If it's sent to the recycle bin then you don't lose posts. That's why I think the threads were taken out by either someone that didn't know to only send to recycle bin OR the forum gods themselves smacked the 2 threads down. The word association one got boring as it kept going back tot he same thing BUT I was rather entertained by the 1 word story thread. Also the fact that the mods and asst admins here didn't see the threads still in place just labeled deleted says they were a bit more permanently taken out.

Yes and no. On a reg delete (Move to recycle) post count does NOT drop. But admins and mods still see the deleted post and can bring it back. Perm delete removes the posts and drops the post count of all that posted in it. AND it's no longer visible by ANYONE. It's wiped completely as if it weren't ever there. (Though I'm sure the Admin can still go through them).

wait those thread were perm deleted not just deleted in general??

well that is a lil differant in Tidus post count then
