Help With Water Pump! - 11/15/2006 10:43:51 AM    88Max   Posts: 1 Joined: 11/14/2006 Status: offline Please Help! I'm going to attempt to change the water pump in my '88 Mighty Max. It's the 2.0 motor, no power steering or brakes. I have a Chilton manual, and I've looked it over. The part I'm worried about is the whole 'removing and then re-installing the timing belt without disturbing the tensioners' part of the process. Has anyone out there actually done a changeout on one of these, and can give me some tips to make it easier? Thanks in advance for your help! --Chris Post #: 1
