hi im new here, i use to have a nissan but im thinking of buying a mitsu one of my friends selling me his eclipse its a 1990 eclipse gs turbo has 104000 miles on it turbo still woks the old owner changed all the shocks spark plugwires and belts and some other stuff dont remember. car runs good ive been on it a couple of times. my friends selling it to me for 1300 what do you guys thinks is it a good deal?

I think it's a good deal. Is it a manual or automatic. If it's a manual, go for it. The 1990's had a bunch of cool stuff(kinda like a pre-cursor the tech heavy 3000gt). The best thing is probably the oil cooler. Also, the 1990's had the most parts interchangeablity with all other 4g63 and 4g64 engines. As a matter of fact, changing the heads on a 4g64 to a dohc setup requires a few parts only found on the 89-90 elcipse, so it's potentially easier to drop in a stroker block in those cars. 104K miles is nothing to dsms, my 96 spyder is pushing 125k and still runs strong....with a slight limp....but STRONG!!!

sounds like a good deal... just make sure the maintenance has been kept up on. DSMs are like the stereotypical blonde. high maintenance, but with enough tlc you will appreciate the ride...
